Shipping Policy & Return Policy

Local Delivery:

We offer local delivery within Ottawa, Ontario for a fee of $6 CAD.  Please allow 2-5 business days for your order to be processed. 

At checkout, when you enter your mailing address an option for local delivery will be available (if you are within our delivery range).

Your order will delivered to your doorstep (or apartment building/condo just be sure to provide all necessary buzz codes, etc) and you will be notified that it has been delivered. 

Free local pick up:

If you are in the Ottawa area, you can select the local pick up option at checkout to pick your order up in the Old Ottawa East area.  Please allow 2-4 days for your order to be processed. Once your order is ready for pick up, you will receive an email confirming the exact pick up location and the time/date that it will be ready for you. Orders will typically be curbside pick up (weather dependent, of course!).

Shipping Policy

We ship Canada-wide.  For orders within Canada, our flat rate delivery fee is $12.  Please allow 3 to 9 business days.

We offer free standard shipping within Canada for orders over $75.

Other rates are calculated at check out. 

 

Processing time
We make each of our items by hand, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your order to be fully processed. 

Shipping time
You will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped. For standard shipping, please allow up to 3-9 business days for your order to arrive. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us.

Please ensure you have correctly entered your shipping address details as we cannot be responsible for orders that do not arrive due to error in address. 

Return Policy

Returns and exchanges
We make these candles to be enjoyed by you and your satisfaction is very important to us. 

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned . Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved.  If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damages and issues

As our decorative candles are hand poured, slight imperfections and colour variations may appear. They may also come with small white marks known as ‘frosting’, which is a natural occurrence with soy wax. Please note that these minor imperfection won't affect the quality or burning time of your candles.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within the next 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. You must provide a description of the damage and photographic evidence.

Lost parcel
Once your order has been shipped, we cannot accept responsibility for any lost parcel. Please contact your shipping provider.
